Two flavors, no fanbase
Pizza King’s Kingdom Pizzas line had sat on the menu for a while, Egyptian and Greek side by side, selling neither particularly well — overshadowed by the rest of the menu, with nothing pulling attention toward them specifically. The problem wasn’t the flavors — it’s that nothing was asking anyone to choose between them. Two pizzas with no reason to choose were just two pizzas lost in a bigger lineup.
Make them pick a side
People don’t get loyal to a flavor; they get loyal to a side. So we stopped presenting Egyptian and Greek as two menu options and framed them as a rivalry people already had an opinion on—pyramids against the Parthenon, Pharaohs against Kings—the same instinct that makes someone defend a team or a city. مودك مصري ولا يوناني isn’t a question about pizza. It’s a question about which one you are.

Built to be picked, over and over
Every post pitted one side’s icon against the other’s and asked people to declare—a format, not a single ad, so the rivalry could run across posts instead of ending after one. Each flavor also came in two formats built for different times of day: pizza and fold. The fold was for mornings and the pizza was for whenever a full meal made sense—giving both camps more than one way to back their side.
